Easter is coming...

Today we would like to show you how to make one of these wonderful branches. Give our eggs a glitter-girly touch by using bright colors, glitter and the ombre look, as well as polka dots.
1. Glitter eggs
2. Ombre eggs
3. Polka dot eggs

You need
A branch (it is extra nice if you use one with buds so it will eventually start blooming), crafting glue and scissors (not in the pictures), eggs (we will do 10), a knife, an egg prick, glitter (we used silver and white), nail polish (e. g. white, rose, mint), watercolors (green, pink, violett), opaque white, decor tape (lilac, rose), brushes and small shashlik stucks.

General preperation for all eggs
Prick each of the eggs with the egg pricker on both sides. Hold each egg above a bowl and blow into one of the holes. The eggwhite and the yolk will flow into the bowl. If you have problems you can a) stick a shashlik stuck or a toothpick through the hole (this will destroy the yolk sack inside and the liquids come out easier) or/and b) make the hole bigger with your sharp knife. The eggwhite and the yolk might be your yummy omelet later on.

1. Glitter eggs Easy sparkling surprise. Prepare a plate with baking sheet on top to keep your workspace clean (otherwise you will have a glitter experience all over your place). Put some of the glitter on the sheet. Insert a stuck into an egg's hole to hold it. Open the crafting glue and use a brush to spread it on the egg. Afterwards just roll the egg in the glitter. Leave it there for a while and - voilĂ : glittering Easter! To make the glitter last longer you can carefully put on some hairspray on the egg.
2. Ombre eggs
2. a. Even more pastel fun with the ombre outfit! You will need an egg and your watercolors, opaque white, water and a brush. It is easier to paint the egg if you put a stack in one hole - in the picture we just used a second brush to hold it in place. Go for lilac and just paint a small, light layer on the surface. Let it dry for a moment.
2. b. Mix some opaque white with your lilac watercolor. On the bottom of the egg paint darker layers and get brighter to the top by using even more opaque white and less lilac. Leave the top nearly uncolored to get a neat, ombre look! You can put your eggs on stacks in a cup to let them dry.

3. Polka Dot Eggs
Polka dots rule! We love them not only in fashion but also on our Easter decoration. You need nail polish, watercolors, water, a brush, your eggs and again, a stack or another brush to hold the egg while painting. Paint your egg in a matching color to your nail polish. You will only need a light layer. We used a light green watercolor with turquois polish / pink watercolor with white polish. Open a nail polish and stick the egg on your stack or brush. Apply nail polish dots. Be careful - some nail polishs are more liquid than others and need more time to dry. Again, you can leave the eggs on their sticks in a cup until they are dry.

Add hanger and ribbons
To hang your eggs on your branch we will add some hanger and ribbons. Use your lilac / rose decor tape, toothpicks, scissors and a shashlik stucks / sharp knife. Cut off a few inches of decor tape and knot it to the end of the pick.

Put the prepared stick into a hole of your egg. You will probably need a stuck or a sharp knife to gently push it inside the egg. Afterwards you can cut off another piece of tape and tie a ribbon on top.
Have Fun!
